Jaya Coffee Roasters

Overview

If you're looking for a hidden gem in the heart of Bali, Jaya Coffee Roasters is a must-visit. Nestled in the scenic area of Jl. Jukut Paku, Mas, Kecamatan Ubud, Kabupaten Gianyar, Bali, this spot offers more than just a caffeine fix-it's an experience that combines great coffee, cozy ambiance, and an authentic taste of Bali.

One of the standout features of Jaya Coffee Roasters is the passion they put into their craft. They source their beans from local farmers, ensuring that every cup supports sustainable farming practices. As someone who loves coffee and knows how hard it can be to find quality, I can confidently say their beans are roasted to perfection. Each cup has a deep, rich flavor profile that ranges from fruity to nutty, depending on the brew you choose. If you're a fan of espresso, the boldness of their shots will definitely impress you.

But it's not just about the coffee at Jaya Coffee Roasters. The food menu is thoughtfully curated to complement their drinks. Whether you’re in the mood for a light snack or a full meal, there’s something for everyone. For breakfast, the avocado toast is a popular choice, topped with fresh, local ingredients and served alongside a perfectly brewed latte. If you’re after something heartier, their smoothie bowls are a refreshing choice, packed with tropical fruits like dragon fruit, mango, and coconut, providing the perfect balance of nutrition and taste.

The café itself has a welcoming, laid-back vibe that perfectly matches its Ubud location. The space is cozy with a touch of modern Bali charm, decorated with wooden accents and plenty of plants, creating a peaceful environment where you can relax or work. It's no surprise that many locals and tourists alike find themselves spending hours here, either catching up with friends or working remotely. It’s the type of place that invites you to linger, sip on your coffee, and enjoy the calming atmosphere.

Location-wise, Jaya Coffee Roasters couldn’t be in a better spot. Ubud is known for its lush landscapes and vibrant arts scene, and this café fits right into the area's creative spirit. Whether you’re exploring the nearby rice terraces, visiting local art galleries, or just wandering through the streets of Ubud, it’s the perfect place to recharge. The proximity to the town center makes it a convenient stop for both tourists and locals.

The staff at Jaya Coffee Roasters deserves a mention as well. Friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, they are always happy to share recommendations, whether you're a first-time visitor or a regular. They take the time to explain the various coffee blends and brewing methods, making sure you get exactly what you want. It’s clear that the team values quality and customer satisfaction above all else.

The reviews from visitors speak volumes about the consistency and quality of this place. Many customers rave about the high standard of the coffee, often mentioning how much they appreciate the personal touch in every cup. It's not just a café; it's a place where every detail, from the quality of the beans to the presentation of the food, is meticulously crafted to create a memorable experience.

One of the best smoothies I've had my whole life which is surprising since I expected the coffee to be the best. Huge portion, fresh and very flavorful. Would definitely return for the smoothie bowls.

the coffee is great, the service staff is friendly and they have two cute dogs in the cafe! they serve their latte with two coconut cookies that compliment the tea perfectly. it’s nice and breezy in the morning and a great way to start your day :)

The place is nice, the coffee is good, the prices are affordable, and the service is friendly. But the food took way too long we waited an hour for just noodles and fried rice.

Hidden gem coffee shop in Ubud. There’s no better feeling than enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning with the smell of freshly roasted coffee. They also sell diverse types of beans for affordable prices.

I absolutely loved the experience here — calm atmosphere, cozy setup, and beautifully served coffee. I ordered the traditional Vietnamese drip, and it was perfection — rich, smooth, and balanced with just the right sweetness from the condensed milk. You can taste the craft and care in every sip. The presentation was thoughtful — served on a wooden tray with biscuits, water, and a delicate touch of elegance. It’s the kind of café where you slow down, savor your drink, and enjoy the art of coffee-making. Highly recommend for anyone who appreciates authentic brews and tranquil vibes. #CoffeeLovers #VietnameseCoffee #CafeCulture #AbuDhabiEats #AlwaysInYogaFlow #MindfulMoments

What can I say? The coffee? Perfect. Smoothie bowl? Wow. My boyfriend got the banana fritter and he said and I quote “best banana I’ve ever eaten”. Cute atmospheric place, the service is excellent and in a quiet place next to a temple. I would totally come back if I’m ever close again. It made my morning!
